The Multicultural Engineering Program will hold its annual banquet to recognize and celebrate the achievements of its students.

Who: Cal Poly Multicultural Engineering Program

What:  Approximately $75,000 worth of scholarships will be awarded to students at the MEP Corporate Social and Academic Recognition Banquet. Numerous companies sponsor the event and scholarships, including Lockheed Martin, Chevron, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon, and others.

When: February 21, 2008, 6:00 p.m. - Reception and awards ceremony, 7:00 p.m. - Dinner
  
Where: Cal Poly campus, Advanced Technology Laboratories (ATL) - Bldg. 007

Why:  MEP is an academic support program designed for educationally disadvantaged students in engineering-related disciplines and this banquet is intended to recognize the success of its students.
