Become An Ambassador!

Recruitment for the College of Engineering Ambassador program begins Fall Quarter. As an Ambassador, you will become a part of an enthusiastic, high-energy team of students who actively represent the college to industry representatives, alumni, parents, and prospective students.

How do I apply?

  1. Attend a MANDATORY Info Session (dates listed below).

    • Thursday, November 12, 2009 | Chumash Auditorium | 11am
      FREE Root Beer Floats
    • Wednesday, November 18, 2009 | ATL | 5pm
      FREE Root Beer Floats
    • Monday, November 23, 2008 | Lobby – Santa Lucia Hall | 7pm
      FREE Pizza

  2. Complete ambassador application by deadline (applications available at Info Sessions ONLY). Deadline for applications is Friday, December 4, 2009 | 4pm

Minimum Application Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in the College of Engineering.
  • Must be in good academic standing, 2.5 or above overall GPA.

If applicants do not meet above requirements, he/she will not be invited to continue with the recruitment process.

“It's important to get young students, especially girls, interested in engineering as a career.”

With some of the money I received from a scholarship, I purchased materials for a program I’ve started with other Poly students. The program is called Science, Engineering and Technology in Elementary Schools — we're working with fourth-graders. Hopefully, we will inspire a future generation of Cal Poly engineers.
