Becoming An Ambassador

Application Process

The College of Engineering begins recruiting for the Engineering Ambassador Program at the beginning of Spring Quarter. As an Ambassador, you will become a part of an enthusiastic, high-energy team of students who actively represent the college and its programs.

What are the minimum requirements to apply?

Applicants must comply with the following requirements:

  • Be currently enrolled in the College of Engineering and have completed no less than three academic quarters at Cal Poly (achieving a minimum of sophomore status).
  • Be in good academic standing, 2.5 or above overall GPA. If you do not meet this requirement you will not be granted an interview.
  • Be available a minimum of 20 hours a quarter to participate in ambassador related activities.
  • Be able to attend the Fall Retreat/Training. Attending the retreat is a required activity.
  • Be able to attend one Winter Quarter Ambassador Meeting.
