Admission Requirements to Join MCRP/MS Engineering Degree with Specialization in Transportation Planning, for Domestic Applicants

Students applying to the joint program must choose a home department, either the City and Regional Planning Dept. or the Civil & Environmental Engineering Dept. It is most common to select the CRP Dept. as home. If you choose the CRP Dept. as home, your Graduate Coordinator is Professor Cornelius Nuworsoo (Email: cnuworso@calpoly.edu). If you choose the CEENVE Dept as home, your Graduate Coordinator is Professor Ed Sullivan (Email: esulliva@calpoly.edu). Please contact your Graduate Coordinator for any additional questions about applying to this degree program.

The deadline for completing your application appears below. All parts of your application must have arrived at Cal Poly by the date shown. Note that you are strongly encouraged to submit your materials well before this normal deadline. This is especially true for fall quarter applicants in order to avoid conflicts with summer vacations and where financial aid is involved.

“It's important to get young students, especially girls, interested in engineering as a career.

With some of the money I received from a scholarship, I purchased materials for a program I’ve started with other Poly students. The program is called Science, Engineering and Technology in Elementary Schools — we're working with fourth-graders. Hopefully, we will inspire a future generation of Cal Poly engineers.
