	Management of the Application Process Although each graduate student applies and is formally notified of admission through the campus Admissions Office, the final decision is made by the faculty of the intended program, through a consultative process managed by the Graduate Coordinator. You are encouraged to contact your Coordinator to confirm that all necessary application materials have arrived, especially transcripts and recommendation letters, to clarify any concerns about requirements and financial support, or to set up a visit to the department. The Graduate Coordinator is the key faculty member to facilitate your transition to becoming a Cal Poly graduate student. He or she is dedicated to helping you manage the various steps that must be taken in order to successfully complete the graduate admission process. I've been a CENG Ambassador and part of the University Honors Program. Cal Poly also gave me the chance to intern with NASA, where I worked on how to predict spacecraft wobble as a result of fuel slosh.
